*ABOUT PKA (PRE-KIDS FOR ALL) : New York City offers FREE, FULL-DAY(6 hours 20 minutes), high quality program for all 4 year-old children residing in the five boroughs.

Applying for Pre-Kindergarten (PKA): In New York City, children are eligible to apply to Pre-kindergarten in the year they turn four. Each winter, pre-kindergarten applications are accepted for the coming school year. This process can be helped in iBear office.
CURRICULUM: The New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE) uses the Core Curriculum(CC) Program that are aligned to the Common Core Learning Standards and other New York State standards.
